COVID-19 Saftey Procedures

First and foremost our primary concern is the safety of you, your families, and our staff. When we reopen we will be adding new safety precautions as well as continue to follow the CDC guidelines and the guidelines set by the Indiana State Cosmetology Board. With that being said, accomplishing this goal will require your cooperation in helping us provide a safe environment for everyone.

Our staff would like to share how much we love, appreciate and miss all of you! For us our salon is so much more than just doing salon services. We love getting to know all of you, being there through good times and bad, being part of big life moments, seeing your families grow, creating relationships and being able to spend our days brightening yours and having you walk out our doors feeling like your best self!!

We are pleased to announce that the salon will re-open the week of May 18th. If you had an appointment during our shutdown you will hear from a team member this week to reschedule your appointment. Please be patient with us as we need some time to strategize scheduling and appointment handling upon our return. If you have any scheduling concerns please email info@prosoto.com and we will assist you. We have limited staff in the salon at this time so if you leave a message it may take a day or two to get back to you until we are back in full time on May 18th. We want to ensure that all clients who had appointments during the shutdown get first priority on the schedule before we take new appointments. We will start taking new appointments on Wednesday, May 6th via email at info@prosoto.com .

When you come in for your appointment you will see some changes. During the shutdown we have taken the time to do deep cleaning and a little freshening up of the salon. There will also be new safety procedures in place to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

  • At this time we will be working by appointment only. We will not take walk-in appointments. This will be in place until tentatively July 4th when more requirements are lifted according to the Governor’s guidelines.

  • We are limiting the amount of people in our building at this time and only allowing one guest per stylist. We ask that at this time only the person with the appointment come into the building. Except in the case of a child with an appointment and those with special needs. At this time we will not allow additional guests who do not have a scheduled appointment in the building.

  • We are asking that all staff and clients wear a mask when in our building. Please come with your own mask and if you find yourself without one we will provide you with one. This will be in place until tentatively June 14th when masks become optional according to the Governor’s guidelines.

  • Upon entering our salon we will be taking temperatures of all staff and clients. If you have a temperature over 99.5 we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.

  • We will have a small questionnaire and consent form we will ask all clients to sign before performing any services.

  • Our waiting area will be closed and ask that you wait in your car until we are ready for your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment please call us at 317-577-9400 to let us know you are here and then one of our staff will come out to let you know we are ready for you to come in.

  • For product purchases please call ahead with your order, we will prepare your order and have it ready for payment and pick up.

  • Our team has been provided with additional training on disinfection and sanitation practices to reduce exposure and maintain overall safety regarding COVID-19 during your visit at our salon.

  • We will also provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and ask that everyone uses it upon entering our building.

  • As always, all towels, smocks and capes will be laundered/sanitized after each use. Our team will continue to sanitize combs, brushes, and other tools after each use.

  • All magazines, reading materials and our coffee bar as well as other items not easily disinfected have been removed for the time being.

  • You may have some additional wait time before your appointment as it may take us a few more minutes to clean stations and treatment rooms in between appointments.

  • All surfaces such as door handles, chairs, desks, shampoo bowls, etc. will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.

  • If you are in the high risk/vulnerable category i.e. elderly, compromised immune system, etc. please let us know and we will accommodate your services during off peak times.

  • We would like to stress that if you are sick or someone in your family is sick please stay home and reschedule your appointment. If you feel anxious about coming into the salon during this time please know we understand and will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

If you find yourself in need of any Pro Soto makeup, Image skincare, or Lanza hair care products we are available to take orders via our email and can ship them to you or schedule a time to pick them up at the salon.
